Music week kicks off with Frank Ocean ‘s new single in two years; with a video by Kilo Kish , and with a premiere by Carly Rae Jepsen . Also, the Nasty Cherry girls release Music With Your Dad ; Ana Tijoux releases Cacerolazo, and the British from IDLES will be bringing a live album very soon. Let’s get started!

1. Frank Ocean, DHL


After opening his new club in NYC last weekend, Frank Ocean brings his first new track in two years: DHL , which debuted on a new edition of Beats 1 ‘s Blonde Radio . The song opens with slow synths and vocals. Ocean autotuned on a steady beat. Ocean seems to hint in the lyrics that there will be more new material soon. The artist recently said in an interview that his sound will be inspired by the ’80s queer club scene in major US cities.

2. Kilo Kish, Bite Me


Rapper, designer and singer Kilo Kish has released a new song, Bite Me, the first single from her upcoming Redux EP , due out via Blacksmith in December. It marks Kilo Kish ‘s fourth collaboration with Ray Brady , the producer and songwriter best known for his work on Vince Staples ‘ Big Fish Theory . In a press release accompanying the release, Kish describes Redux as a “sister project” to 2018’s Mothe . The launch will coincide with an “immersive audiovisual installation” at a Los Angeles gallery.

3. Carly Rae Jepsen, The Sound


Carly Rae Jepsen shares a new low-fi video for The Sound today, shot in Lapland, Finland. As you know, it’s a track from her recent fourth album, Dedicated, released this year. “Nature is part of my childhood and my best memories,” reveals Carly in a press release. “Here in Lapland I was amazed at how the quiet space allows ideas to float in my head. It has been unlike anything I have experienced in my life.”

4. IDLES, MOTHER


Brits IDLES announced today that they will be releasing a new live album, recorded at Le Bataclan, Paris. The limited edition double LP is out December 6 via Partisan Records , and will contain a booklet designed by frontman Joe Talbot , featuring photos from the show and a selection of poetry. “Our Bataclan show was the end of a very long journey for us,” Joe explains of the record. “On that tour we learned a lot about ourselves, about each other, and about the audience we’ve grown up with over the past 10 years. That performance was catharsis and love”. As a preview, they give us the video of MOTHER, taken from the album.

5. Taylor Hawkins + Chrissie Hynde + Duff McKagan + Joe Walsh, Get The Money


In less than three weeks, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins will release his new solo album, Get the Money. Although technically a solo effort, Hawkins recorded with a dream team of rock stars, including fellow Foo bandmates Dave Grohl and Pat Smear ; Queen drummer Roger Taylor , and Nancy Wilson , from Heart . As a sneak peek, Hawkins is sharing the title track today, which features Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan , The Pretenders frontman Chrissie Hynde , and veteran guitarist Joe Walsh .. 6. Ana Tijoux, Cacerolazo


The Chilean Ana Tijoux shared a fragment of Cacerolazo over the weekend , a song she wrote after the protests in her country last week. The song includes sounds of caceroleo, and has a raw video in which they collect scenes of police and military abuse against protesters, as well as the various marches that have taken place. 7. Nasty Cherry, Music With Your Dad


Proving they’re incapable of making a bad track so far, the Nasty Cherry girls are back today with another dirty banger called Music With Your Dad, which serves as the fourth track from their debut EP, which while unnamed is expected to drop. next November.
