As we say, you may have downloaded Control for free on the Epic Store , so this guide will come in handy. It is also valid for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players.
How are cheats activated in Control? Very easy. The first thing we need to do is go to the game options menu . Next, head over to the Gameplay tab.
Once you are in the Gameplay tab , you need to go to Assist Mode . From here you can turn it on or off , but remember that you won’t be able to use cheats if you don’t enable this option.
Control assist mode is made up of several options, which we could call cheats. There’s a bit of everything: invincibility, energy boosts, damage reducer …
You can turn any of these cheats on or off, or scale them in the case of energy and damage cheats . Below we detail what each one consists of.

- Improved Aim Assist – You’ll have an easier time aiming at enemies, though this is more of a tweak than a cheat per se.
- Next Aimed – The closest enemy will be automatically targeted.
- Energy Recovery Multiplier – You can choose what percentage of energy you recover for each enemy defeated.
- Damage Reduction Multiplier – Arguably an ”extremely easy” mode, scaling the damage you take for each attack.
- Ammo Count Multiplier – You can select the percentage of ammo you receive.
- Immortality – The classic God mode, which makes you invincible.
- One Hit Kill – This mode will make any enemy one shot dead… including yourself.
In case you want everything to ”return to its place”, just click on Defaults and all the parameters will be adjusted . You can change whatever you want from the Control assist menu.
