If last year was full of great anime premieres, 2023 does not fall short at all. Because in addition to some highly anticipated news, more seasons of some of the biggest anime of recent years are also finally here.

‘Vinland Saga’ – Season 2

We start the year with a historical anime with a lot of action, and which is also one of the most anticipated titles of the year. On January 9, the story of Thorfinn continues, who continues to seek to avenge the death of his father.

For the new chapters we have changed the anime studio, but the director of ‘ Vinland Saga‘ has already promised that the quality has not been affected and the trailers are very promising.

‘Jujustsu Kaisen’ – Season 2

After a spectacular first season and the bombshell that ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’ brought to theaters, this year we continue with the main plot of the anime, which will adapt two new arcs of the manga.

The second season of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ will premiere in July 2023, in time to give us an intense summer.

‘Just Leveling’

After succeeding as a webtoon, the manhwa jumps to anime format in 2023, although there is still no specific premiere window.

‘Solo Leveling’ revolves around Jinwoo Sung, who is known as “the weakest hunter”. One day he manages to survive a very dangerous mission and is chosen by a program as the only player, whereupon he begins to gain skills and “level up” by leaps and bounds.

‘Tokyo Revengers’ – Season 2

Another of the winter premieres, which also has the difficult task of measuring itself with a spectacular first season. This second season of ‘Tokyo Revengers‘ is also premiering right now (January 7) and we can see it on Disney+ to see if Takemichi ‘s adventures in the past can indeed change his future for the better.

Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage

The first season of ‘Ranking of Kings’ left us wanting more, and in April 2023 an anime special will arrive that will give us a new adventure for Bojji, although its duration has not yet been confirmed.

‘The Ancient Magus Bride’ – Season 2

After a long wait since the first season, the second season of ‘ The Ancient Magus Bride’ finally arrives in April 2023, one of the best dark fantasy and romance stories we’ve seen in recent years.

‘Hell’s Paradise’

‘Hells Paradise’ (‘Jigokuraku‘) is also among the most anticipated novelties of the year, and it is already surrounded by a lot of hype for the original manga. The anime adaptation goes to April 2023 with a story set in the Edo period of Japan.

When Gabimaru is sentenced to death, he gets an opportunity to escape his sentence and return to his wife if he can retrieve the Elixir of Life from a mysterious island.

Trigun Stampede

The return of Vash with a new anime series that has the approval of the creator of ‘Trigun’ and that in principle will be more faithful to the original manga. ‘Trigun Stampede‘ also starts next January 7, with a new revamped design and quite promising CGI animation.

‘Dr. Stone: New World’

2022 gave us a small appetizer with a special chapter of the anime dedicated to Ryusui, but ‘ Dr. Stone’ is back this year with a bang and a third season that takes us on a journey. It remains to specify the day and the number of chapters, but we already know that the series returns in April 2023.

‘Mashle’

Another of the great novelties of the year, and quite anticipated despite the short time that the manga has been in publication. The ‘ Mashle‘ anime also starts in April 2023 to show us a world where magic is the order of the day, although his protagonist does not have an easy life and is determined to excel thanks to his muscles.

‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ – Season 3

The second season of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ ended with a bang and Ufotable has not been hard pressed to give us more episodes of its star series. First a movie will arrive in theaters, and in April 2023 the third season of the anime begins fully, which takes Tanjiro to the Blacksmiths Village.

‘Oshi no Ko’

Based on the new manga from the creator of ‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War’, this anime presents us with a reincarnation story with a very interesting twist that explores the dark side of the idol industry. ‘Oshi no Ko‘ will first hit theaters with a 90-minute chapter, but the entire season starts in full in April 2023.

‘Spy x Family’ – Season 2

‘Spy x Family’ has become one of the great successes of 2023 and we must take advantage of the pull while it is still alive, so in 2023 we will have a second season of the anime and also an original movie. Unfortunately, there is still no estimated release window, so it is better to wait for both productions by the end of the year.

‘Shingeki no Kyojin’ – Final Season Part 3

With the permission of the rest of the anime on the list, without a doubt the end of ‘Attack on Titan’ (‘Shingeki no Kyojin’) is the most anticipated of 2023. The Final Season of the anime is stretching like infinite gum, but It seems that finally this year we will reach the end of the story.
