If last year was full of great anime premieres, 2023 does not fall short at all. Because in addition to some highly anticipated news, more seasons of some of the biggest anime of recent years are also finally here.
‘Vinland Saga’ – Season 2
We start the year with a historical anime with a lot of action, and which is also one of the most anticipated titles of the year. On January 9, the story of Thorfinn continues, who continues to seek to avenge the death of his father.

After succeeding as a webtoon, the manhwa jumps to anime format in 2023, although there is still no specific premiere window.

‘Tokyo Revengers’ – Season 2
Another of the winter premieres, which also has the difficult task of measuring itself with a spectacular first season. This second season of ‘Tokyo Revengers‘ is also premiering right now (January 7) and we can see it on Disney+ to see if Takemichi ‘s adventures in the past can indeed change his future for the better.
‘Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage‘
The first season of ‘Ranking of Kings’ left us wanting more, and in April 2023 an anime special will arrive that will give us a new adventure for Bojji, although its duration has not yet been confirmed.
‘The Ancient Magus Bride’ – Season 2
After a long wait since the first season, the second season of ‘ The Ancient Magus Bride’ finally arrives in April 2023, one of the best dark fantasy and romance stories we’ve seen in recent years.
‘Hell’s Paradise’
‘Hells Paradise’ (‘Jigokuraku‘) is also among the most anticipated novelties of the year, and it is already surrounded by a lot of hype for the original manga. The anime adaptation goes to April 2023 with a story set in the Edo period of Japan.
